The Master in Development and
International Cooperation (MIDEVIC) is a programme taught in English,
for international students, focused on economic development policy for
developing and transition countries. It is a legally recognized university
title provided by the The Master’s programme is officially
promoted by the Department of Economic Sciences at the This Master’s Programme has
received in various editions the partial financial support from the Direzione Generale per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (DGCS – Italian Directorate General for
International Cooperation) of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE),
under the form of scholarships and tuition waivers. |
The MIDEVIC covers macroeconomic
policy management, economic and fiscal policy, development economics,
economics of transition, European integration issues, and applied comparative
political sciences The MIDEVIC courses provide: ·
Highly interactive teaching
environment with emphasis on learning by doing. ·
Extensive use of guest speakers
and lecturers from international financial institutions, European
institutions and development practitioners. ·

The First Edition on the Master’s Programmes was
held in Academic Year 2002-2003. Since then five editions have been held.
