1. Economics of the firm: vertical integration and outsourcing, corporate governance and organization structures; 2. Economics of innovation: dynamic capabilities and innovation, technological and organizational change, technological systems and national systems of innovation; 3. International economics: technological gaps and trade, technological gaps and international technology transfer
